Born in 1987 - Spain
Aida Pascual is a Spanish artist, born in 1987 in Burgos where she currently lives and works.
She did her graduation in the advertising and public relations field at the Complutense University in Madrid and then turned towards photography. She did a masters in conceptual and artistic photography at the EFTI photography school in Madrid and studied visual arts and photography at Miguel Hernández Elche University.
One of the artist's main inspiration is the romantic German painter Gaspar David Friedrich. Pascual's seems to exude the same effect: meditation, romantic nostalgia and sorrowful memories.
Aida Pascual creates all his photos in natural environments and reflects human emotions through it. He mainly displays vast spaces where man seems fragile and insignificant: snowy plains, cliffs on the side, endless horizons etc. Nature is displayed as a silent hideaway place.
Aida Pascual's works are mainly exhibited at the Mediadvanced gallery in Gijon in 2016, at the Villa Cultural center of Madrid in 2015, Gallery Lumas in 2015-2016, Teatro Principal de Burgos in 2014, Arte Room Art Fair in 2013, not to mention Círculo de Bellas Artes de Madrid in 2012.
