Miguel Angel Sanchez was born in 1975. He has been living and working in Cairo for the last few years.
He graduated from the Art School of La Palma Madrid. He began his career working for musicals and freelance for El País.
He is winner of the Young Designer price of the city of Madrid.
He specializes in photographic portraits. Dark portraits loaded with symbols and emotions.
Miguel Angel Sanchez aims to capture the moments of life of people he's meeting through his trips. He particularly likes to take pictures of street people, after spending a while with them. He was advertising photographer in Madrid at that moment, and then decided two years ago to settle in Cairo where he began a new and more personal work in his own studio.
