Born in 1973 - Sweden
Henri Delehag is a Swedish graphic designer and writer born in Stockholm in 1973. As a teenager he spent some years in New Zeland and then studied at the Berghs School of Communication in Stockholm. In the beginning of the 2000s, he moved to London, where he worked in the world of advertising as artistic director. Today, he still lives in London where he lives and works in the bell tower of a nineteenth century church in the south of the city.
Influenced by a rich tradition of iconography as well as by his expetise in the fields of typography and architecture, the goal of Henrik Delehag is to create icons that reflect and inform the modern world.
He is part of an artistic duo with Ben Carey called Benrik. Their vision of modern art is expressed several ways from performance, creation of objects, writting of best sellers (This Diary Will Change your Life) and filmmaking to technological innovation. Their work have been exhibited at the Museum of Modern Art of New York.
Henri Delehag is currently working in two new exhibitions as well as in a film project made with his wife, Tina Delehag, whose release is planned for 2017.
