Louise Cattrell

Né en 1957 - United Kingdom

BIOGRAPHIE

Louise Cattrell is an English painter, born in 1957.
After having finished her studies in London and Dundee, Louise traveled a lot, from residence to residence to nourish her work.

Cattrel idealizes immense landscapes. She sees them as places that are open to imagination and fantasy, and fills them up as she pleases, inspired from her experience. In her paintings, the artist explores changes in a space depending on the time, season and even the year.

Louise Cattrell's creations are an echo to the spirit of romanticism, may that be consciously or not. The various sections of color and ambiguous titles contribute in creating a magical atmosphere and a dark narration.
