Marj Bond is a painter, born in Scotland, where she still lives and works today. She studied drawing and painting at the Fine Arts University of Glasgow, where she received teachings from Alex Dick, David Donaldson, Mary Armour and Benno Schotz. The latter passed on their principles on expressionism, which has made a major impact on her work.

Her creations draw inspiration from her various travels to India, Morocco, Spain and Cuba. She uses symbols and colors to depict her paintings.

Marj Bond was awarded several prizes for her work, and received orders and did exhibitions around UK. The artist is a member of the Scottish Society of Artists and Royal Scottish Society of Painters in Watercolor. Her works are part of the Perth Art Gallery Museum not to mention the Edinburgh University.
