Lucy Mclauchlan, is a British artist born in 1978 in Birmingham. She founded the English group of art Beat 13 which combines drawings, design and music. She is the head of the Gallery of Art Beat 13, where her pieces have been exhibited several times.

Lucy Mclauchlan's work is influenced by almost prehistoric graphics, with a modern style. Her style oscillates between numerous tendencies: Art Deco, psychedelic, naturalism, female figurative works.

With a black marker, Lucy Mclauchlan composes monochromatic drawings in black and white on different supports: paper, motor vehicles, buildings......ruled by a passionate instinct, she creates an oneiric world.

Her work is exhibited on billboards in China, at the central Library of Birmingham, in windows in Japan, buildings in Europe, shacks in Gambia, in a lighthouse in Norway, in parking lots in Detroi, in the tunnels of abandoned metros in New York. Her work has been acquired by prestigious museums, such as the Victoria & Albert Museum in London.
