Darragh Powell is an artist from London of Franco-Irish origins who lives, studies and works in France since 2006, in the Provence Alps, Côte d'Azur and Auvergne.
He obtained a Barchelor's degree in Fine arts from the Croydon College (University of Sussex) In England, then pursued a Master's degree at the Clermont-Ferrand School of Fine Arts and finally studied at Pavillon Bosio, School of Arts and Set Design in Monaco.
Darragh Powell creates pieces where nature becomes his favorite subject, all while working as well on urban scenes where man's presence is only visible by the traces left by his passage. Inspired by the cinema and by the environment that surrounds him, Darragh Powell creates pieces that resemble moments frozen in time coming out of films.
