Born in 1967 - United States
Born in 1967, Tony Nahra is an American photographer. He lives and works in Seattle.
During his studies at the University, he worked as a journalist and did photography. He developed a taste for art, influenced by digital photography mania and smart-phones.
Tony created a furniture design company with his husband.
He simultaneously continues to create personal works. According to him, photography is the best means to invent an imaginary universe with realistic images. This leads him to create original places which are marked by realism. Immersed in darkness, the context is blurry without being nonexistent, so that the spectator feels free to analyze. In order to portray his universe, Tony Nahra gives equal importance to image and the title of his works.
