Gary Paller is an American abstract artist whose work is like "music" for the eyes, he plays with the shapes and colors which interact and create harmony.
He lives and works in Los Angeles. Gary Paller studied at the University of California in Los Angeles where he obtained a Barchelors' and a Marsters' Degree in Fine Arts.
Paller studied with artists, William Brice, Lee Mullican and Charles Garabedian.
He currently teaches art the Brentwood Art Center of Los Angeles, where he is also member of the board of directors as.

Paller is a multidisciplinary artist, who works with acrylics, ink, graphite and pencils on canvas and paper. He produces also monotypes and prints.
In 2013, he collaborated with Wildwood Press in St Louis, Missouri, to create a collection of big, unique collagraphic stamps. Gary Paller's work is based on color fields with generally few shades and no light. His use of lines defines the spaces and the transition from one color to another. His prowess resides in his capacity to create a balance between spaces and chromatic effects where pictorial volumes seems to oscillate in the sphere.

Since his childhood, Paller has been attracted by pieces that represent simple organic shapes. He remembers having a particular enthusiasm for the work of painter Miro, Arp and Calder as well as for British sculptors Moore and Hepworth. Concerning contemporary artists, Paller says: "Today, I think that I share certain affinities with the organic shapes of Kapoor and with the architects of Zaha Hadid and Frank Gehry". According to Paller, shapes can suggest individual or living organisms that interact with each others. These evocations as well as the auditive interpretations of the readers fascinate him.

Cynthia Penna, artistic director and curator at ART 1307 wrote about Gary Paller's work: "Gary Paller's morphology of shapes have its deepest roots in the uconscious. The softness of geometric shapes is clearly reflected in subcoscious situations, buried in the hidden depths... the beauty of Paller's pictorial composition resides in the fact that it is purified from any other component that obstructs or distracts the eye from the shape.
It is this perfect balance between volumes and colors that gives the viewer the strange sensation of being "rock" in space, being carried by a sort of soft wave towards a oneiric and unconcious world resembling the maternal womb and offering absolute protection".

Pallers has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions all around the world, mainly in Europe and particularly in Italy.
