Halinka Jakubowska
She completed her studies in sculpture at the Académie Royale des Beaux-Arts in Liège and the Akademie voor Beeldende Kunsten in Brussels. She exhibited her works at individual exhibitions and took part in numerous group exhibitions in Belgium, Poland, France, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Germany, Italy, Spain and Turkey.

Jakubowska's works can be found in collections throughout Europe and are displayed in public space as well (in Liège, the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Brussels, as well as in Italy and Spain). For her work, she has received the Golden Cross of Merit in 2015, title of "the Pole of the Year in Belgium" award in the field of Culture and Science in 2011 and numerous other awards and recognitions in the field of fine arts:

- 2008 - 1st prize, fountain named "La Porte" in Soumagne-Micheroux, competition;
- 2003 - 3rd prize, Reano del Roiale, Italy;
- 1998 - 3rd prize, "Abstract-Beeldentuin 98";
- 1996 - 1st prize, competition for fountain for the Place St-Lambert, Liège;
- 1996 - Laureate of the "Sculpture" competition, for Place St-Lambert, Liège;
- 1996 - 1st prize, «Sculpture», intended for the Elisabeth Park, Brussels;
- 1996 - 1st prize, «A Memory of Jean Gol», memorial, Embourg;
- 1995 - Honourable Mention, Nanto Pietra '95, Italy;
- 1995 - National Hembecca Prize for Sculpture, Brussels;
- 1995 - Louis Schmidt Prize for sculptures, Brussels;
- 1992 - Prize of the Walloon Region;
- 1991 - 1st prize, fountain for the Place Saint-Séverin, Huy;
- 1991 - Trophées Prize for the competition sponsored by the Urbanisme de Liège,
winner of the Renovation of Buildings and Houses section;
- 1990 - Prix de la pierre, awarded by the Association of Stone Masons of the Province of Liège.
