Boris Jouanno

Boris Jouanno positions himself above all as a multiple artist with mixed techniques; engraving, painting and drawing that he applies to all the supports that he can divert, creating true works of art.

At the age of 25 he enters the School of Fine Arts in Tours and obtains his degree. He finished his education with a master's degree in Angers. Some time later, while still at his training site, he had the opportunity to meet a patron who entrusted him with the renovation of an old convent that had become a resort for artists, from which a beautiful and large cultural project emerged.

This project, whose concept encourages all artists to participate and invest in each room by offering them the opportunity to work in this unique space formerly abandoned, and to give a second life to this ancestral place, has mobilized more than 100 artists ...

Boris chose to practice his "free expressionist" painting tinged with narrative, by integrating all the wall objects that are part of these places. Thus the pipes are transformed into double bass strings, the radiator into an accordion, and the power outlet connects of course the amp to the double bass in order to incorporate them into his work. This beautiful initiative creating an enchanting work, a true vibrant metamorphosis has surprised many people.

Sharing this experience with some of his beautiful new artistic acquaintances has allowed the painter to weave and keep strong bonds with them. His delicate and marginal personality makes him both endearing and surprising. 

His works prove to be extremely intense with his multiple realizations, especially when he plays with a slogan to animate his artistic vision, sometimes subversive, sometimes poetic, or both at the same time.
