A pioneering artist, born in Paris, BOCAJ attended the School of Fine Arts there with CESAR as a teacher. He created a very innovative pictorial style for his time, a mixture of free figuration and neo pop culture, still envied by the young generation of artists claiming to be "street-art" today. He began with drawing, an art that he practiced in several newspapers, associated with painting and airbrushing and in advertising. This leads him to a neo-figurative expression populated by sultry beauties with skin-deep sensuality. The woman, mysterious and provocative, opens in cruel refinement, and half-opens the door to our fantasies. BOCAJ is now an integral part of our pictorial landscape. Her brightly colored acrylics tirelessly combine the beauty of the female body. BOCAJ prefers women to be brown, luscious as can be, seized in a state close to amorous ecstasy. He has been designing the poster for the Jazz Festival in SETE for many years. The city of Montpellier granted him an institutional exhibition within the Dominique BAGOUET space in 2016.
