After the Bernard Pras “Sans Objet” exhibition at the Musée du Touquet, it's the gallery's turn to honor the artist. Around thirty recent works, diasecs and characteristic installations of the artist will be exhibited. Considering himself a painter, Bernard Pras has fun and amuses us by using, not the colors of the classic palette but ordinary objects to create shapes, contrasts, volumes. The image takes shape under a cluster of collected or collected pieces always related to the subject represented. "I am a painter whose approaches have led me to photography. (...) Besides, the problems that I raise by my photographs are painter's problems." The work of the artist is thus declined in installation under plexiglass or in photograph which freezes forever the desired image. A unique process, emblematic of the artist, Bernard Pras continues to amaze us. The illusion continues!
