Presentación
Herbert George Ponting, FRGS (21 de marzo de 1870 - 7 de febrero de 1935) fue un fotógrafo profesional. Es más conocido como fotógrafo y director de fotografía de la expedición Terra Nova de Robert Falcon Scott al mar de Ross y al Polo Sur (1910-1913). En este papel, capturó algunas de las imágenes más duraderas de la Era Heroica de la Exploración Antártica.
