Piers Henriot

Conceptual artist, he works with various media, from painting to illustration, from photography to installations including sound. He graduated from: Nantes Regional School of Fine Arts “ERBAN" (2004) after a course in sound, film and digital photography at the School of Fine Arts in Dundee (Scotland). He has participated in numerous exhibitions in France and abroad and his works are in private collections.

In his paintings and drawings, Piers explores the limitless possibilities of geometric or architectural forms, combining them, accumulating them to the point of saturation. The resulting apparent chaos reflects the way we glimpse the fragments of life and the whole picture eludes us.

In the pictorial works, the support of wood and oil color predominates, which is spread with grainy and plastic effects.
