Léon Larroque

Léon allows you to appreciate the beauty, the sweetness and all the life that hides in these mysterious luminous nights and in the sleeping cities.

Léon Larroque was born in Toulouse in 1943.

His father, engraver (heraldry) is a friend of André Marestan (Rome Prize for Painting) and Caudéran (sculptor).

Léon was immersed in this environment from his early childhood. At the age of 10, he executed his first night painting. Léon always paints new pictures discovering new inspirations during his nocturnal walks. His painting is Figurative, Oil on Canvas.

In the major Painting Salons, he realized that he was the only one to present CLAIR-OBSCUR paintings.

Exhibitions to Occitan Artists in Toulouse in 1958 (15 years), in 1959, 1960, 1964.

Exhibition to French Artists at the Grand Palais in Paris in 1959.

Exhibition in Nice in 1969 (Gold Medal).

Exhibition in New York in 1970.

In 1991, 1992, 1993, exhibitions at the Independent Artists in Paris.

In 1992, 1993, 1994, 1998, exhibitions at French Artists in Paris.

Thereafter, he participated in more than 150 exhibitions in France and obtained Prizes and Medals including the Diplôme des Beaux-Arts de Toulouse and Medal of Vermeil, Gold, Silver, Bronze and other prizes: Painting Prize , Honorary Diplomas.

For 23 years, Léon exhibited at the Galerie Auriel in Toulouse.
