Stéphane Ducatteau is an engineer, but he took several art courses at the Beaux-Arts Workshops of the city of Paris (drawing, painting, modeling, glass art). He also has a art ironwork diploma.
After several works of working as an engineer in an architecture office, Stéphane Ducatteau studied art ironwork for a year. He makes his own models as he thinks that the conception and the production of the artwork should not be separated.
