Carole b.

Born 1981 in Saint-Germain-en-Laye, France.

As a child of the eighties, Carole b. has always been attracted to art, and soon started to draw at all occasions. One day, as a bet, she decided to approach collage, which she mastered adopting an unusual approach: the technique of cutting & pasting. The artist uses a large array of colourful and textured paper sheets, which are cut to create rich and detailed artworks. Her professional duties brought her to set her passion aside, but in 2016 her entourage convinced her to restart her artistic career and to participate in some exhibitions. 

The success of the first art fair she attended encouraged her to pursue her dream. As soon as she developed some artistic experience, her technique became more refined. Her subjects started to show a more complex and personal representation. Carole b. stands out for her subtle and strong artworks, mixing femininity and feminism, glamour and humour, historical references and pop art.
