"Fascinated by the wonder of man, frightened by his destructive audacities, I have not stopped trying to understand this duality.

Hoping for a timid answer to my questions, I spent two years at the Beaux-Arts in Valence. Then I left France for Haiti.

I discovered in this wonderful country with deep scars, secular, sacred dances and animist culture. From this rich experience, I will report the desire to seek contact with the elements, nature and of course, rhythm.

In 2009, I joined a volume and earth workshop under the teaching of Patrice Rozand, sculptor. Then begins a deep and fruitful encounter with volume. Through sculpture my quest continues. Question duality, otherness, body, space, our mysteries, history.

Trying to penetrate into the depths of the being, to rub shoulders with its meanders, its dark areas and those also fertile.

Go to meet what makes man, and especially seek to confront myself sensibly to the creative act, to the source of life. I speak of the man without naming him. It rubs shoulders with the animal, vegetable and mineral kingdoms through form and material. These living creatures that emerge from my work are indefinable. They stretch out of the material, create surprise, question, destabilize. They push us out of our comfort zone. Where mastery is possible. Where we silence the unknown.

Through my work, I try to invite the unspeakable, to confront us with it. "
