Presentation

Born in Strasburg in 1996, Jade Dreyfuss lived and grew up in an environment which revolved around art.

She drew inspiration from works of Daniel Ogier or Roger Dale. Right from her youth, she began drawing and based it all on El Gaucho de Manara's vignette.

Completely self-taught, the young artist began by observing and representing her surroundings. It is with her mentor, Juan Garcia Porrero, a professor in visual arts at the Sorbonne, that she was able to surpass herself.

It was in this university that Jade Dreyfus began painting, drawing and engraving. She created her works on paper along with charcoal and lead. Her desire also made her discover the field of scenography.

Jade Dreyfus's work revolves around the notion of Man and society in which he evolves. She criticizes the superabundance of information which we receive everyday. Her landscapes look a lot like an organic jungle, mixing body and minerals, portrayed under the form of a composition. The created visual obscuration is a reflection of what we go through on a daily basis, highlighting the number of elements we have to digest.
