Tom de Pékin

Tom from Beijing is not really from Beijing but from Savoy and lives in Paris. Activist artist, graphic designer, director, performer, he is interested in the text / image relationship, diverting in an erotic-playful vein an iconography often gleaned at the mercy of his antipodist peregrinations. He has worked for Les Lettres Françaises, Têtu, Nova, but also for Sneg, Amnesty International, Aides, INPES and Canal +. Tom from Beijing is also an author and director of short films presented in numerous international festivals. In March 2009, an important monograph was published by Septembre Editions offering a retrospective of his work, coupled with a presentation of the different procedures used in his queer counter-propaganda enterprise. The publication in 2011 of the book "Haldernablou" by United Dead Artists reveals a darker side of his work.
