Christoph Kronhagel

Christoph Kronhagel is a "mediatect" who brings content, technology and space into interaction. Among other things, this led to the construction of large digital media facades and thus to a chronological sequence of image motifs in an urban space.

With "patch me up!" Christoph Kronhagel continues this special form of encounter in an art project. A patchmeup always consists of a series of image motifs that are printed in a format of 30x30cm. The motifs are works by Christoph Kronhagel and details from the works of many other artists from a wide variety of eras and places in art history. Christoph Kronhagel always photographs a structure of these works that particularly interests him, i.e. only one specific detail.

These prints are put together in such a way that their encounter creates a special magic. The pictures have an influence on each other and the buyer of the series can shape this influence himself. The order of the pictures can be determined by the buyer himself. A simple attachment to the wall is done with adhesive dots, so that you can flexibly change the order.

Patch me up! is an open art project that will never be finished. 

Patchmeup! is also a reaction to our time, in which many social groups barricade themselves in echo chambers and no longer recognize how many commonalities can be shaped.
