Aukse Miliukaite is a Lithuanian painter. She studied at the Fine arts school in London and in Vilnius.
Her art is influenced by masters like Henri Matisse, Paul Gauguin, Paul Cézanne, Camille Corot, Jean Baptiste, Siméon Chardin and many others. Her compositions portray various time periods, styles and narrations. The artist likes to forge links and make associations to create her very own artistic language. By creating unexpected and paradoxical visual scenarios, she invites the spectator to take part in an intellectual game, violate traditional rules of taking the work at face value, she wants the viewers to interpret her creations, which have already put down roots in memory, and personally analyze them, and link them to one's very own experience, therefore find oneself in the painting.
