Mel Ziegler

Mel Ziegler was born in 1956 in the United States. He first studied design at the Rhode Island School of Design, then at the Kansas City Art Institute. He lives and works in Nashville. He devotes his career to art but also to reflection on the role of art in public space, the social dimension of our environment, the value of manual work and the importance of collaboration between the artist and his community. Through his artistic work, he proclaims his love for rural values, the American environment which he finds authentic, positive.
