Anna Komitska (b.1998, Sofia, Bulgaria) is a visual artist, writer and producer based in London. She works with images, objects, video, and installation. Anna explores contemporary ideologies, digital culture and political ecology through collective memory, speculation, and machine learning.
Her practice centers on repurposing, reinterpretation, abstraction across mediums to reveal the image oscillating across subjectivities and contexts; between fact and fiction; between the natural and the artificial. In her research and writing, Anna investigates post-anthropocentric discourse and other-than-human behaviours at the intersection between art, anthropology, and technology.
