Jason Dussault is a Canadian artist born in 1973, renowned for his mosaic works that reinvent this ancient technique. Originally from Vancouver, he currently divides his time between his hometown and New York, drawing inspiration from the urban diversity and natural beauty of these environments.
After over a decade in the financial sector, Jason reconnected with his passion for art during a stay in Malta. He developed a unique style by combining materials such as tiles, paint, grout, resin, and vintage porcelain, transforming the art of mosaic into a contemporary form. His works pay homage to pop culture icons, including superheroes and comic book characters, reflecting personal nostalgia and an exploration of modern iconography.
Jason has exhibited his works in prestigious galleries, notably at the Hoerle-Guggenheim Gallery, alongside renowned artists like Picasso, Dalí, and Warhol. In 2015, he presented "Deconstructive/Constructive" in New York, an exhibition featuring mosaic portraits of iconic superheroes such as Superman, Thor, and Hulk.
In 2022, he introduced "BOOK 1" at FOMO Gallery, a multimedia project combining a comic book series, a limited edition fashion collection, and unique sculptures, centered on his iconic character, Peter Panda, and his adventures in the metaverse.
Jason Dussault's work continues to inspire and captivate, merging traditional techniques with a contemporary vision to create artworks that deeply resonate with audiences.
