Biography
Pierre Sojo was born in December 1990 in Pithiviers. He grew up in contact with the works of his father Jean Anguera and those of his great-grandfather Pablo Gargallo.
Very early on, he showed an interest in drawing, but his first painting lessons were not given until the age of 18, by Marc Chalmé, in Nantes. "At the time, learning classical painting did not interest me, I wanted to be modern. Today, I am no longer interested in being modern, I want to be sincere. Since then, this young painter has taken the time to create a body of work with varied subjects, from mythology to genre scenes. He develops a universe of enigmatic characters who evolve in the light of the landscape as well as in the intimacy of interiors.
