

Biography
Bill Mensah was born in 1965 in Ghana La, a suburb of Accra. He attended Nungua Secondary School and the Ganatta Collage of Art in 1998. He also studied with the International Corresponding School of Art, in the USA in 1992,
Bill mostly uses brush, a pallet knife, and mediums such as oil on canvas. Acrylic on canvas and paper, and watercolor on paper in his paintings. Based on his realistic approach to color and figures, his works have found a place in the contemporary fine art and African art market. He paints a wide range of subjects including colorful market scenes, beach scenes, village, town scenes and landscapes. His works depict day to day activities and interprets dynamism in Ghanaian culture.
His works can be found in galleries in Europe, USA, South America, and different African countries.
