Benedetto Magnano San Lio is an Italian artist born in Padua in 1966.
It was in 2009 that the artist decided to devote himself fully to his artistic work through the production of pictorial works.
He thus frequented the famous Romanian painter Nelu Pascu, who gradually accompanied him in his exploration of color and the technique of knife painting.
Magnano San Lio's painting is based on an ideological concept where the representation of beauty translates into the representation of emotions, where the mind must empty itself of all material and psychological, religious and political attachments.
In 2015, his work was successfully presented at Art Innsbruck, and later exhibited alongside other Italian artists at the 3Space2 gallery in London. In 2016, he participated in several other events, including "Art under the Portici" in Bologna and "Affordable Art Fair" in Milan. In 2017 and 2018, he participated in several fairs, including Padua, Milan, Genoa, Forlì, Vicenza, and Parma. He exhibited a series in New York for ArteExpo and in Miami for Red Dot during Art Basel 2018; in 2019, his paintings were also exhibited in Paris, Luxembourg, and Geneva.
