

Biography
Marten Drewes is a Dutch artist, based in The Netherlands. After obtaining his degree for Fine Arts at Academie Minerva he went on to create art.
During his studies he developed a unique and eye-catching style of painting. While working in his studio, he spilled glue on an ink drawing. This accidental merging of glue and ink was immediately something worth investigating. After this incident he started experimenting with glue and ink in an attempt to make this his medium for abstract painting.
After years of trial and error he has mastered this technique and is now known for using these materials in his art. It turned out to be the ultimate medium in a quest to find his best abstract combination of; texture, composition and color.
