Presentation
Mark Elst was born and raised in the Netherlands. Since 5 years he has been established as a photographer in the South of France in the Provence / Cote d'Azur region and working throughout Europe (for architects and designers / interior architects).
In his youth he was already fascinated by buildings and he discovered and investigated many ruined and vacant buildings. It soon became clear to him that he was going to focus on architectural photography.
In his work he aim to present the pure lines of modern architecture as realistic as possible and to show the soul of old buildings. He mainly use natural light and find composition decisive in the end result.
In his Artwork the love for architecture can also be found in the Cityscapes and in series with the theme "faded glory".
In this, it is his goal to make the connection between architecture and daily life.
