Montse Roldos

Graphic artist, painter, and graphic/web designer.

Graduated in Fine Arts from the University of Barcelona, she is an artist who has combined creativity and art with new technologies. Through continuous training in software applied to design, she has brought all her experience in the visual world to the creation of websites. In the creative and pictorial field, her work connects with the everyday and the poetics of domestic things, the landscapes of memory that help us understand the present and transport us to a place we can recognize, where we rediscover the archetype of the idea and transition from abstraction to a geometric synthesis of the concept. Her artistic work has been exhibited in different countries such as France, Italy, the Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland, England, and in many cities across Spain. She has also exhibited in places such as the Palau de la Música in Barcelona, the Reials Drassanes in Barcelona, the Saló del Tinell in Barcelona, and the headquarters of the Council of Europe in Strasbourg, among others. She has also collaborated on illustrations for various graphic media, has won several painting awards, has been selected to participate in events such as the IV Autumn Salon and the VI Biennial of Contemporary Painting, has been a finalist in the V Barcelona Biennial, and has been awarded in the 1st Call for Visual Arts by La Casa Elizalde, with the group Momomoma, of which she is a part.
