Biography
Artist Statement:
RK is a London based artist and musician with a focus on abstract painting.
His paintings constitute a combination of intuitions, instincts and associations. I create strange images, neither true to reality nor memory, not existing yet somehow very familiar.
Polak's work manifests human imperfection, wickedness, basic instincts and behaviours.
The artist is interested in absurd, sexuality and humour. RK Polak finds inspiration in human barbarism, stupidity, our filthiness and clumsiness.
