Biography
I was born in Havana, Cuba, in 1960. I live and work in Miami, USA, since 1997. I graduated as an Engineer in 1984. I have been creating Art for more than 50 years. I have been able to use my professional knowledge as an Engineer in my passionate journey of creating Art. I have exposed my artworks in many international exhibitions. Some of them are: “Branches and Roots" 29th Juried Virtual Collective Exhibition by New York People and Paintings Gallery (PPG) in April 2024; “Dream and Reality" 28th Juried Virtual Collective by PPG in March 2024; “Honoring the Woman" and “José Martí Collective Art Exhibition", both physical exhibits sponsored by the City of Hialeah authorities in 2024; the International Virtual Collective Art Exhibition “Connecting Borders with Masters of Art", by Brazilian Liesel Cerna Studio International Art Group in 2023; the XVII International Exhibition “Spring Season" Virtual Museum by Spanish MundoArti Gallery also in 2023; in 2022 the Florida Biennial by Art and Culture Center in Hollywood, Florida; my Individual Exhibition 3D Gallery MundoArti "Zaplaflora: With Ecological Flavor"; and the 20th, 28th and 29th Juried Exhibitions by New York People & Paintings Gallery. El Nuevo Herald in December 2022 and in January 1998 published extensive reports about my Art and my artistic career. I feel fully and spiritually rewarded as a prolific artist, having received several important international art awards.
