L'art est un message qui permet de dévoiler la vérité. L'art est fait pour troubler.
Artiste (Peinture, Sculpture). Née en 1953.
"Je suis artiste peintre, designer textile, sculpteur, devenue professionnelle depuis 2001. J'ai été formée à l'école des Beaux-Arts d'Aix-en-Provence, et élève de Vincent Bouilles. Je me suis fait connaître dans mon atelier/galerie à Paris Bastille durant 7 années. J'ai créé le foulard "Nymphéas" pour le musée Marmottan Monet. Je réside au pays Basques depuis 2005 où je réalise des commandes pour des particuliers et professionnels de la côte basque.
Proche de la nature je peint une projection de mon imaginaire onirique et poétique.Mon inspiration vient de mon carnet de voyage : Los Angeles, NY, Rio de Janeiro, Madras, Tanger, Manille, Lisbonne, Istanbul. Je transpose en peinture les images qui m'habitent. Celles qui m'interpellent ont gardé leur mystère en mémoire des lieux, des moments, des personnes qui ont marqué ma vie.
Influencée par le street art, le Pop Art des années 60 et l'expressionnisme allemand : Frantz Marc, Kirchner, Munch... Ma pratique est éclectique, j'expérimente pochoirs, diverses matières, peintures, sculptures, céramiques. Mes sculptures terre cuite et céramiques sont les complémentaires de mes peintures
La figuration imaginaire ou visionnaire est plus proche des arts singuliers, des "outsiders" à l'art médiumnique. L'investissement de l'artiste dans son oeuvre classé vers l'intellectualité, l'essence, le travail intérieur est axé vers le projectif, l'onirisme, la poésie, le lyrisme. L'aspect communication via le signifié s'inscrit dans une narration symbolique qu'elle soit allégorique, métaphorique ou analytique."
