Josick's ambition is to make and feel the light in his paintings. The artist is "in search of the light ... The one which must inhabit creation, the one which makes the air vibrate, the one which gives the form, which illuminates and makes it understood, and makes the shadow exist, the vital balance. ; the subtle, discovered by the only sense of the gesture and the thickness of the pigment, that of the backlight, the ambient, the punctual, the intended, the unforeseen which produces the unexpected effect… ”
His journey :
Graduated from the National School of Decorative Arts in Paris.
Teacher for 2 years at the Académie Charpentier.
Graphic Designer at APES for 3 years.
Management of a Creative Studio for 25 years.
Several years of watercolor practice (exhibited and rewarded in various salons or competitions).
Oil painting since 2009.
Studies in various workshops, at the Beaux-Arts in the city of Paris, and numerous internships (Bari, Balding, Debusschere, Melmoux).
