Pinamar

Born in Lille in 1990, Pinamar gradually follows in the footsteps of his mother, painter sculptor and former plastic arts teacher.
As a child, she said of him that he had a natural talent for creating. Cartesian by nature, it was only on the eve of his 30th birthday that Georges began to believe her.
A true globetrotter with a particular attraction for Latin America, his painting is strongly influenced by his life experiences in Mexico, Brazil, Panama and Martinique. A passionate lover of Mexico, he was marked by the visit of Frida Kahlo's Casa Azul, during his university exchange year in Mexico City in 2012. He also
moreover chose to return there to create his first series of paintings entitled "Mexico".

Pinamar admires Picasso, Miro, Klee and others: Matisse, Dubuffet, Calder, Le Corbusier or even Basquiat. He tries to draw inspiration from it while having a clean and modern style. Spontaneity of line, candor and naivety of expression but also maturity and reflection in the choice of themes. His work is also borrowed from a cheerful color palette. At Pinamar, the lines overlap and merge to give free rein to the viewer's imagination.
