Gemart Ortega, aka Martkills, has been steadily exhibiting in various galleries like Pinto Art Museum, Boston Gallery, and Space Encounters. Admitted to the Fine Arts program of the University of the Philippines Diliman, Gemart dropped out to focus full time on art. Fond of depicting sleepy, winsome kids in pop-figurative compositions inspired by his son, Gemart has also been active in the local custom toy market. His favorite toy sculpture is the creepy one-eyed 'Tiyanak.'
