Presentation

As a child, I had the incredible chance that other children do not necessarily have today, that of being close to nature. In this nature, I was able to explore and deploy my senses. By listening to the songs of birds, the buzzing, smelling the smells of elderberries, observing the colors and shapes...

I learned to satisfy myself with what is necessary, to marvel and to develop my imagination.

Growing up in this wooded garden filled with life, I forged a special connection with the earth and its many species, so that one day, when I returned from school, all this wonderful place would be found destroyed.

In town, far from this peaceful space, my relationship with the living gradually faded away.

But my story is only one, among those of so many human beings losing their meaning, deprived of their essence. And I can't imagine how I would have perceived the world if I had been taught the names of the brands before the names of the plants. I realized that you first had to learn to know, learn to love, to find in yourself the will to defend.

Photography then came to me as an evidence, to allow me to reweave this lost link that I missed so much. It is my way of transmitting, to offer to see differently, to marvel to appreciate simple things and reconnect with the living.

Who am I?

Today, I want to sow my own seed, by working as a photographer at La Graine Digitale.

A communication agency whose vocation is to establish itself in the heart of a permaculture farm and to reinvest 100% of its profits for the regeneration of the land and the links.

It is in parallel with this activity that I go to discover those who live soberly, joyfully and connected.es, to transmit my discoveries, to try to amaze and inspire!

Artistic approach

It was originally as part of a personal study project in BTS Photography and thanks to a small seed sown by Tanguy Descamps in the book "Agir pour le Vivant", that the idea of the Living Differently project.

“The words here echo thousands of terrestrials, market gardeners in living soil and other agitators in the countryside, who deploy new ways of inhabiting our planet.
Redefining our place is the challenge at the heart of all ecological bifurcations, especially artistic ones."

This is how I started a photographic documentary, going to meet people who live in "alternative" habitats, attracted by their lifestyles.

Greatly inspired by the thought of the anthropologist Philippe Descola, and that of the author Eric de Kermel, I believe in the powers of the image to allow a trigger towards new creative dynamics.

I like to see the image as a window, which leads to other universes and invites curiosity.
I like this sentence from Eric de Kermel, "When we marvel, we want to understand, by understanding we want to act."

Today, I want to create a book to highlight the benefits that connection to the living and sobriety can provide on humans and biodiversity.
In this book, I would like to present photographs of discovered places and impactful, inspiring sentences from their inhabitants, to open up to other philosophies and other perspectives.
