Yves Bonhomme reinvents still life with colorful collages, between tradition and modernity, inspired by the 1950s
Biography
Born in Paris, Yves Bonhomme graduated from the École des Beaux-Arts and furthered his artistic career in London (Saint Martin's School of Art), Berlin, and Budapest. Passionate about still life, he has been exploring everyday objects—fruit, vases, fish—for many years, drawing inspiration from the aesthetics of the 1950s. Working primarily with wallpaper, cut out, pasted, and combined with acrylics or pastels, he creates vibrant and unique pieces. Between pictorial tradition and joyful modernity, his creations offer a contemporary reinterpretation of the classic motif.
