M. Campistron

Michel Campistron is an artist....Painter, it was only after twenty years that he decided to exhibit his work with several exhibitions, in France but also abroad (Florence, Barcelona, Madrid).
Always inclined to give meaning to his work, his paintings, where fluidity and material confront each other, evoke the wounds of time.
"the inevitable and the future." A certain harshness, the dark atmosphere that emanates from his creations, allows him to claim a belonging to the Catalan school of Tapiés, Millarès, Valdes or an influence of creator, like Anselm Kiefer. Today, the material has taken a preponderant place and, always in search of new experiences, Michel Campistron moves towards an expression of visual artist, more than of painter.
Present in several public collections in France and abroad (Barcelona, Beirut, Monaco, Los Angeles).
Michel Campistron, born in 1958, lives and works in Mouchan (France).
