Biography

Leonardo De Meglio (Napoli 1992)

Following the family artistic tradition, he studied at the Academy of Modern Art in his hometown and showed great talents from a young age.

His originals have a fresh and modern approach to the traditional subject of landscape artwork. He works mainly with oils/acrylics and a delicate range of colours, whilst retaining the teachings of the Masters of classicism, moving towards a greater degree of modernism with a light and bright color palette.

His style soon approached the School of Neapolitan Abstractionists, soon becoming an effective and well-liked member with good criticism from the older artists.

Observing the artist's paintings one senses the intimate poetry that he knows how to convey while he creates them, as if by magic he throws his colors, he even mixes them with his emotions, makes them alive, full of movement, graceful and full of a elegant, charming and dreamy atmosphere: it is his romantic soul, his poetry, the immortal melodies he listens to while painting that inspire and guide him.

In the panorama of modern painting he will deservedly conquer an important space, a place of privilege thanks to a particular, effective and suggestive style.
