“The direction of my work? Sincerity. Everything evolves according to my nourishment, my emotions. Women remain my favorite theme, in any case those particularly endowed with earthly, natural or transcendent powers that echo a mythological iconography that I try to revisit. I love goddesses, virgins, queens, and I enjoy transforming all women into powerful creatures, marvelous in their beauty, strength and fragility. My current theme is the fountain woman. I am also increasingly interested in symbolism. I like to master the oppositions between shadow and light, strength and fragility, monstrosity and beauty. Also and above all, the theme of transformation.... When I develop a drawing or a canvas, I moisten my support and then cover it with random stains. Thus begins the pareidolia (optical illusion consisting of associating a formless and ambiguous visual stimulus with a clear and identifiable element, often a human animal form, editor's note); and the adventure begins. My goal remains to surprise myself, to pursue a transformation. My destiny and that of my work are intimately linked.
