French artist known for his unique blend of sculpture and painting, inspired by animals and Picasso.
Biography
Julien Marinetti was born in 1967 in Paris. He grew up in Saint-Germain-Des-Prés, in a family turned towards art. Indeed, his photographer and his mother evolved in the world of theater. Right since he was five, he had a passion and obsession for painting and sculpture, up to such a point that he spent his days in Paul Belmondo and painter Edmond Heuzé's studio. He studied at the Grande Chaumière studio, in order to acquire a training which was academic and technique.
This made him develop an art which was midway between sculpture and painting. These works in bronze were a success especially « Doggy John », a French bull dog. Indeed, animal is his main inspiration and favorite theme. Another dimension of his work draws inspiration from Picasso's sculptures.
His work is adored by collectors and is exhibited in Paris, Singapore, Dubai, Marrakesh, Geneva and New York.
