Biografie
Nataliia Krykun, geboren 1988, ist eine ukrainische, ultra-zeitgenössische, multidisziplinäre Künstlerin mit Sitz in Österreich.
Sie arbeitet hauptsächlich mit monochromen Farben und Blattgold und schafft skulpturale Gemälde und minimalistische Formen, die Tiefe, Textur und Kontrast ausloten. Ihre Verwendung monochromer Oberflächen, strukturierter Reliefs und sorgfältig ausgewählter Materialien verwandelt Einfachheit in ein kraftvolles visuelles und taktiles Erlebnis.
Seine Werke sind dafür bekannt, universelle Themen wie Menschlichkeit, Identität und kulturelle Widerstandsfähigkeit zu vermitteln.
Krykuns Werke laden zur Kontemplation und Stille ein und verbinden Eleganz mit roher Materialität. Seine raffinierte Ästhetik eröffnet einen heiteren Dialog zwischen Schatten und Licht, Oberfläche und Raum.
Krykun hat an zahlreichen internationalen Ausstellungen und Kunstmessen weltweit teilgenommen. Zu den Höhepunkten zählen die Ausstellungen ihrer Werke auf der VOLTA Basel und der Art Basel Week in Miami. Außerdem nimmt sie am ukrainischen Pavillon der 58. Biennale von Venedig teil, „Der Schatten eines Traums, der auf die Gärten der Biennale geworfen wird“.
Seine Werke wurden auch auf der Art Fair Vilnius 2023 und im Krems Museum in Österreich, in der historischen Dominikanerkirche, präsentiert.
Sie setzte ihr Studium an der Universität der Künste in Linz, Österreich, fort.
