Charlotte Lenssen

My name is Charlotte Lenssen. I am a third generation artist in my family. I grew up in Germany and my grandfathers work was featured in the northern part and my aunt a well known abstract artist in Bremen.

I have always dabbled in art as long as I can remember. My art was featured in local art shows since I was in high school. My work has been shown, in Florida, Houston and Durango.

I received a BA degree in Studio Art and Art Education and taught in the public school system for 5 years. Art in every form has always been part of my life.

Watercolor remains my favorite. Lately I've been creating jewelry using the centrifugal casting method with gem stones, and mosaics. I enjoy diversity and seeing people light up when they chose a piece of my work.
