Lukasz Fruczek is a Polish artist who often refers in his paintings to the port architecture of Gdańsk, as well as music annotations. "Industrial Landscapes" is a painting series started in 2013 and continued until now.
The paintings are more or less abstract impressions of the industrial fabric of the city; architecture of port quays, shipyard docks, old factory halls, railway junctions and the accompanying atmosphere of passing and duration.
LUKASZ FRUCZEK (born in 1975).
Between 1995 and 2000 studied painting in the Department of Painting and Graphic Art of the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk. In 2001 graduated with honors from the Painting Departament. His works can be found in galleries in Poland, Great Britain, Netherlands, Sweden, Germany, Japan, Australia and Lithuania.
His paintings are in the collection of European Solidarity Center (Europejskie Centrum Solidarności) in Gdańsk.
