Biography
Eva María Pacheco Ricote (born 1975, Barcelona) is a Catalan abstract painter and visual artist who blends lyrical abstraction with spiritual meditation in her work. She earned a PhD in Fine Arts from the University of Barcelona, focusing on the intersection of art, yoga meditation, and inner transformation. From 2003 she practiced meditation intensively, and later spent eight years living in a spiritual ashram in Delhi, India, which profoundly shaped her artistic vision.
Her first retrospective, , featured over thirty paintings spanning two decades, exploring gesture, materiality, and the ever-present use of gold as a symbol of transcendence and spiritual awakening.
Currently based in Barcelona, Eva creates and exhibits her soul‑connected abstract paintings internationally, and also offers meditation classes and artistic research projects.
