How do we define the absurd? While we often strive to make sense of things in life, the bizarre, or the surreal, allows us to let go in a way that can be refreshing, and the artists of Artsper have a lot of fun creating it! The absurd allows for multiple possibilities of experimentation. Through everyday scenes diverted in an improbable way, as in Stasele Jakunstaite's drawings, totally psychedelic patterns à la David Shrigley, or even fantastic-looking creatures like those of Juan Ripolles, our new selection "Curated by Artsper: The Charm of the Strange" is sure to make your head spin. Welcome to the world of the absurd, where things aren't always what they seem...
