Delphine Dessein

Delphine Dessein was born in the North of France in Lille. Very early on she became passionate about drawing, painting and colors. She followed a training in Plastic Arts and obtained a Bachelor's degree at the faculty of Tourcoing and then she followed a year of courses at the Beaux-Arts of Dunkerque. In 2011, she was approached by Elly's Restaurant in Saint Raphaël to organize her first solo exhibition!  The Bog-Art gallery in Brussels opened its doors and encouraged her in her artistic approach. Afterwards, she participated in several group and solo exhibitions. Today, Delphine finds a balance between her northern roots and her love for the Var region. Painting allows her to respond to an intrinsic need, to express her feelings about society and to transmit the humanist values that are dear to her. The fluorescent colors she uses in her paintings and sculptures reveal a true "Hymn to Life"!
